Tag Clouds
The viewfinder site makes use of a tag cloud to show relative popularity of different tags. The size represents the number of items to which a tag has been applied, as a presentation of each tag's popularity.
When you post a comment to the site using the upload form, you have the option of adding tags to that post. Most likely, you will choose words or phrases that emphasise the key points of your comment. If you choose to use tags that have already been used by other contributors (i.e. they are already in the tag cloud), then these tags will have an increased popularity and be shown in a larger size in the cloud.
In essence, the tag cloud provides a visual representation of how popular different terms are in the comments posted.
